Wildfire season has begun as of March 15 and runs through to October 15.

 

No burning is permitted unless allowed by the Province.

 

To check whether you can burn, refer to the Province's burnsafe website: https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/

 

You also need to follow municipal bylaws for your area. To report a wildfire or violations of the fire restrictions, call 1-800-565-2224 or 911.
